(re)Choir

Singing. No Commitment Required.

(re)Choir is a community singing experience designed for people who love music, miss singing, or have always wanted to sing but never felt they belonged in a traditional choir.

There are no auditions, no long-term commitment, and no pressure to perform. Instead, (re)Choir brings people together for an evening of music, connection, and joy through group singing.

Whether you sang in school, performed years ago, sing in the car, or simply enjoy being surrounded by music, (re)Choir is a welcoming space where everyone can participate. The focus isn’t on perfection—it’s on community, creativity, and the shared experience of making music together.

Each (re)Choir event gives participants the opportunity to learn and sing a selection of popular songs in a fun, supportive environment. Along the way, new friendships are formed, confidence is built, and people reconnect with a part of themselves that often gets left behind in the busyness of everyday life.

(re)Choir was created by Tia Colborne and Dan Sonier with a simple idea: singing should be accessible, joyful, and available to everyone. Since its launch, the project has brought together singers of all ages and backgrounds from across the Sarnia-Lambton community.
