Great Lakes Dance Academy

We, at Great Lakes Dance Academy, are committed to providing you with the very best Performing Arts education. We want each experience at our academy to be positive and inspiring. Our capable teachers and staff are passionate about dance education and the performing arts. We look forward to sharing our passion with each student, and helping each dancer, singer, and actor reach their goals.

The Nutcracker

Big News at Great Lakes Dance Academy!! We’re finally doing it; we’re planning and producing our very own production of The Nutcracker.

This program will be for any interested ballet dancer. There will be roles for students and adults.  The youngest dancers will be 7 (or in Grade 2 at school.) and we’ll need some brave men and women to dance and act in the Act 1 party scene as parents and party guests. GLDA will be investing in costumes, props and sets that will be used each year as this will become an annual event for our community.

There is no cost for participating in the production other than a small fee for costume maintenance and of course, tickets!!

We are very excited to offer a program that will enhance our dancers’ training without costing our dance families. We’re also excited to be creating something that will bring together people in our Brights Grove community and beyond.
