Mission Statement

We believe that introducing the performing arts to your child is a wonderful gift that will stay with them for a lifetime. Here at Great Lakes Dance Academy we are dedicated to enriching our student's lives through dance by giving them an outlet to train their bodies as well as their minds. Dance promotes poise, proper posture, strength, flexibility, co-ordination, rhythm and musical awareness. Equally important though, dance teaches its students dedication, self-confidence, artistry, self-discipline, and the satisfaction of achievement through hard work.

It is our goal at Great Lakes Dance Academy to motivate and challenge every student, whether their goals are fun and physical fitness or a career in the performing arts. We strive to instill a passion for the performing arts while providing students with proper technical dance training. We encourage teamwork and promote skills that will help them succeed in other aspects of their lives.

We are dedicated to contributing to our community, by encouraging our students to share the skills honed at our academy. We want to provide a place for the community to come and learn about the performing arts and we also believe in creating performance opportunities so that our students have the chance to truly shine.
